| | Re: Loose or Clumps?
|
| I've done clumps but it's more work. Also I had read that there may be some weakening of gripping power after many years kept assembled. I had some clumps of 2x4s that had been clumped together for 25 years. They don't grip very well. That is (...) (25 years ago, 6-Jul-99, to lugnet.storage)

| | Re: are flexible technic axles really axles?
|
| (...) I have 8445 in hand. If you mean the long yellow bent things on each side of the cockpit in that set's cover picture, I confirm that both numbered assertions above are true. These are quite rubbery, but even so, forcing them into a cross axle (...) (25 years ago, 6-Jul-99, to lugnet.general)

Given my circumstances, there may be no way, depending on when you set this up, that I can get in ahead 50 other people. I still think some sort of "who (...) | | Re: are flexible technic axles really axles?

| (...) Not sure I totally understand the question, not being a technic head. However the front wheels pivot on two balls that stick out from the frame. The balls are on the end of those 1x2 plate with triangular a-frame parts. The pivoting part seats (...) (25 years ago, 7-Jul-99, to lugnet.general)

| | Re: are flexible technic axles really axles?
|
| (...) Only sort of agree. While this is a four bun setup, the rear wheels do not steer. They must use the bun for decorative purposes only. There is a solid axle going through the bun back to the differential. But the front shows the assembly very (...) (25 years ago, 7-Jul-99, to lugnet.general)

| | Re: Clone bricks in auctions
|
| I think putting marbles in to increase weight is way over the top. Leaving them in because you couldn't be bothered to clean things up is shoddy, but just barely acceptable if the listing is explicit that they're in there. Based on your description, (...)
