Re: Question: Are reviews of non-LEGO (such as Mega Blocks) sets of interest?

(...) Most but not all. I'm a purist and I don't agree. Your call, of course, but I'd rather see off-brand reviews allowed and I'm glad we're having this debate. I just don't see it as a big issue, really. Supressing the reviews is not going to make (...) (26 years ago, 3-Mar-99, to lugnet.admin.general)

I can't get hats in time at this point but I am going to have some made... cost will be under 20. If you really really want a hat at LegoLand I can get one made at MoA but it will be over 30...   Re: economics of set 3225

It's not a caboose. A caboose has a cupola or a bay window, or at least, a work area for the conductor. It's not a pullman. A pullman has beds, washrooms, a porter's office, etc. It's a coach. It's really pretty simple to remember coach, I think. (...) (26 years ago, 4-Mar-99, to lugnet.trains)

(...) Yes, and welcome to the debate, even if you've come a bit late. Been thrashed around a bit already. I'd probably have let it slide if you hadn't introduced "Pullman" (1) TLG is wrong.
