Re: Babies who threaten to topple Israel?

(...) *Sigh* The item cited above is the result of an academic study which was published in a peer reviewed journal by a respected academic. Do you have something similar to support your argument, or are you just "shooting from the hip"? Scott A (22 years ago, 20-Jan-04, to lugnet.off-topic.debate)

Re: LEGO fires CEO Plougman - concentrates on bricks

(...) I dunno-- "Duplo" is a brand name that lasted 25 years. Some of today's parents probably remember growing up with it. But "Explore" was only around for 2 years. Hardly as recognizable. Plus, "Duplo" is one of Lego's great brand names that (...) (22 years ago, 8-Jan-04, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.general)

  LDCC.java

I've developed an LDCC protocol stack for lejOS. Well, 1/4 of it. It's currently receive-only and only on the RCX platform. It needs another pair of eyes to make sure I haven't done anything stupid or inefficient, as this is only my second Java (...) (23 years ago, 26-Oct-03, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.java)

  Re: Delian (car MOC)

(...) Peer, I just got done building this. Really neat MOC you've made here. And the pull-back motor makes it that much more playable. My only complaint would be that the instructions are a little dark. The black areas were kinda hard to see. (2 (...) (23 years ago, 29-Sep-03, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: Delian (car MOC)

That's a cute car, Peer. I liked it even before I read about the pull-back motor inside. It's great to see an attractive body built around that chassis instead of the garish monstrosities LEGO's been putting out in the Racers line. Bravo. -The Rev. (...)
