Re: LEGO® SpongeBob SquarePants new sets

(...) Well, I give parts in the new colors away to my mother-in-law's 3rd grade class, so any bley is a total loss. (I do throw it in with a bulk bucket so they can actually build with it.) I'm willing to eat a few pieces, but not more than say, 10% (...) (18 years ago, 15-Jan-07, to lugnet.color, FTX)

(...) Are the AFOL designers credited? It would be neat to know what designed what. Sounds like a really neat concept, and one that I hope will be extended to other themes. Marc Nelson Jr. (URL) Marc's Creations>> (18 years ago, 20-Feb-07, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

  AFOL Wife Swap?

I just received this email - my address was apparently culled from the WAMALUG list: Hello, my name is Jodi and I am a casting producer for the show Wife Swap on ABC television.   Re: Prices for Deluxe Brick Box Sets

(...) It is a little strange, especially considering that those sets come in a cardboard box and not a plastic container. The higher prices for basic bricks do seem to be in line with the (URL) LEGO Factory P@B prices>, though. If this is a (...) (18 years ago, 17-Jan-07, to lugnet.year.2007, FTX)

  Re: BrickWorld 2007 - who's getting paid?

(...) I have been informed by the event coordinators that BrickWorld is a for-profit event owned by Bryan Bonahoom and Adam Tucker, and that they would control any potential profits from the event. (...) There isn't anything wrong with either a for-profit or non-profit AFOL event. Any of these answers are perfectly fine: John Smith will be profiting from this event.
