Re: Most money spent on Lego at one time (was Re: LEGO for Life Sweepstakes)

(...) I think the most I've ever spent on Lego in a night was about $1300 - but that was split between two Target stores. Probably scored well over $3,000 worth of retail priced sets that night. (25 years ago, 4-Dec-99, to lugnet.general)

  The Lego Group

I have seen a number of folks here continuing to use the acronym, TLC, instead of TLG. It is driving me crazy. I checked the bottom of several of my Lego sets, including 7144: Slave I and this is what I found: The Lego Group. The Lego logo and the (...) (25 years ago, 29-Jan-00, to lugnet.starwars)

(...) -snip- (...) I don't know why LEGO states 75 years, and not 80 years? Shouldn't 1932 to 2012 be a difference of 80 years? Unless the first plastic 'LEGO' element was created in 1937. Go figure? (12 years ago, 10-Aug-12, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.mediawatch, FTX)
