The Birmingham Lego shop is sadly closing down.
3/4 of the shelves are empty. Everything is 50% off or more, except for pab
which is full price (I asked the staff).
They had some Ferrari sets and lots of medieval stuff left and some small bags
of bricks.
I never did really think that a Lego shop was viable, so it's not the biggest
shock in the world. I think a shop is just an overhead when theirs so many other
retail channels that can be used. I don't think they ever priced anything
either.

| (...) I would tend to agree with you there. The only really great thing was the PAB, and that could be better served from the web, with a minimum order, and being able to order at least basic bricks by volume or selection. This is not the same as (...) (18 years ago, 16-Aug-06, to lugnet.loc.uk)
