  Re: surrender, you're surrounded!

(snip) Bottom line--it's a matter of opinion. One opinion is okay with the color change, the other is not. This sounds like a debate that ranks up there with politics and abortion. The German AFOL community has been most vocal about this, and (...) (20 years ago, 28-Jan-05, to lugnet.color)

Re: Has anyone ever been missing a piece?

{snip} I had two in one buying binge recently, the first was in 4559 (cargo railway) missing a 1x2 white plate with one stud on top (instead of two, pardon my terminology) the other was in the ninja stone tower bridge (6089) a 1x2 gray plate with a (...)   Re: Which building.

(...) The BrickFest event will be held in the Original (old) building. It is red brick and a late 70's style (it was a department store). If you are approaching the building from Fairfax Drive it appears to be only two stories and is a combination (...) (23 years ago, 10-Jul-01, to lugnet.events.brickfest)

(...) And it's now moderated. This ship looks very nice! (...) The sails are great! I typically furl the lower sails, to keep the deck clear. The heavy canvas holds its shape nicely, too. (...)   Re: (OT) cheap accomodation in Brisbane

(...) How cheap is 'really' cheap? About the cheapest you'll get is backpackers, if you can stand dormitory accomodation (although some do have single rooms for less cheap).   New Color!

(...) See these posts on bricklink: (URL) and (URL) Mine>. The light gray has changed a bit, but the dark grey is a whole new color, which I think Clark is right about; it's stone gray. The new studs are slightly looser, but seem to work well. (21 years ago, 15-Nov-03, to lugnet.general, FTX)
