Yesterday I took a robot I was involved in creating to a the first American Nuclear Society Robotics and Remote Systems Division Student Robotics Competition. Greetings, After a successful show last year, COLTC was again invited to display at the Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows, in Belleville, IL, near St. Louis, MO. This year an entire building was dedicated to the Lego display, which again was featured (...)   Yo ho ho, a pirate's life for me!
 
Aye! I've always been a fan of pirates. Prior to Lego's official Pirates line I was forced to create my pirate figures with non-Lego material. I leave out the link to those customized figs here. I hate batteries. I have a lego bubble-blower in my office that I use as a demo when people tour our center, and it is really annoying to have the battery-pack batteries die at inopportune moments.
