When I was a little kid I got a kit for adding electric lights to my creations. It consisted of two little yellow 2x2 bricks with a 4.5VDC light bulb shining out the front, and the old 4.5V type of electrical connector on the back. I got tired of (...) I have been thinking about this very thing recently. It's actually pretty simply. For the simplest version, all you need is a nail or screw (preferably with a lot of soft iron in it, otherwise it will tend to stay magnetized to some extent once the (...) One of the main reasons I have a good supply of rare parts is that I did this same thing in Germany in 1979, 80, 81, 82, 83, 85, 87, 89, 92, 93.
