| | Re: Iron Clads

| Do you think the boat hull from the adventure set would do for a small version. I am considering getting some of those sets to build some small versions of iron clads. Or do you think that they are not wide enough. Thank you for your help David (...) (24 years ago, 2-Feb-01, to lugnet.western, lugnet.pirates, lugnet.boats)

| | Re: Iron Clads

| (...) It depends on what you mean by "Ironclads." I've done ironclads, but they're the oceangoing European sort--really overgrown frigates-- not the coastal or riverine sort that usually is associated with the US Civil War. (Sorry, no pics at the (...) (24 years ago, 31-Jan-01, to lugnet.western, lugnet.pirates, lugnet.boats)

If any of the little ones turn out well, I'm hoping to do a minifig (...) (24 years ago, 17-Feb-01, to lugnet.western, lugnet.pirates, lugnet.boats)

| (...) I have washed with liquid dish soap and gotten good results. If they are smoky smelling it may be worth using an anti-bacterial liquid hand soap though I haven't tried this. If you dry the sails on a flat surface (like a towel draped over a (...) (24 years ago, 23-Jan-01, to lugnet.pirates)

| | Re: Can I use two cybermasters

| Without picking up the soldering iron and modifying its frequency, talking to multiple CyberMasters on the same frequency is, I guess, very similar to talking to multiple RCXs through IR. When the PC sends out a command through the tower, every (...) (24 years ago, 1-Feb-01, to lugnet.robotics.cybermaster)

| | Re: Washing Pirate Sails?

| (...) Hi Paul, I've cleaned a lot of sails and the main thing to avoid is scrubbing them too hard. The threads on the edges come loose and fray if you wash them too long or scrub them too much. You can use just about any liquid detergent and even (...) (24 years ago, 24-Jan-01, to lugnet.pirates)
