Lego used to have their office and a major display/store at Drummoyne. Right
next to the Iron Cove bridge by the bay.
However I'm a bit concerned they said it was only a year ago. I remember it
closing down when I used to have to beg parents to buy things for me, and so
must've been at least a good 10/15 years ago.
Unless of course something has opened up there, though I'm sure at least one
of us would have found out about it.
It WAS a wonderful place to be, all sorts of Lego on display, on sale, and
plenty of play areas to actually build with others. Apparently it was just
too expensive to keep.
So, In short, either:
Sorry: your rellies are right about the place, but wrong about the time.
OR (and this would be the good answer.
INTERESTING: !!!!!!!! I might go exploring tomorrow to find it.
