I would rather have use of the 0 to 8 range because many of the values in the 0 to 100 range simply fall into groups which give only 9 speeds. However, I do not support rewriting the IC code. a wireless serial link requires surgery to IC. the HB side woudn't be bad. on the ic side you'd have to plug into the board comms routines (probably most are stashed away in a single library) and substitute your own code that deal with transmission (...) Hi everyone, I've noticed problems with both DL and DLM in certain situations too. At first I used to think that I made a mistake in configuration or ruined a controller somehow. I just recently found out about the existence of the North Eastern Texas LEGO Train Club (NETLTC), and even more recently discovered that they were going to be attending the train show in Marshall, Texas. Don't know if home brew is OK for your needs but I found a little while back, a website that had several different homebrew sensors described and a single axis inclinometer was one. try using +robot +inclinometer in the Altavista search engine.
