Re: txt2dat - Create LDraw files from text

(...) Well I worked out the scale factor, and imported the DATs into an Access db (some had to have some stuff inlined first) then manually went through the polygons working out all the verteces and entered them directly using Font Creator.   Feasibiltiy study, and challenge to robotics people. (not a contest)

There are people who say it'd be a bit complex for a LEGO robot to assemble and build another robot. Let's see who are the thinkers, and who are the doers. ;) I reckon the first obstacle for anyone interested in doing so would be tackling is how to (...) (...) I do, actually. It's not in my brickshelf account, yet. I need to redesign my whole web page but I just haven't made the time. (URL) the intro to the page.   Re: Automated minifig walking animation include file for Povray (Was: 8002 destroyer)

(...) I am a really impressed. But I'm still not convinced that we can make a really flexible system for animating our LDraw based models using POV's built-in animation support.
