Re: Bummer of the Week: LEGO Made in China

(...) Actually, I understood that, but was trying to make the point in a simpler fashion. Alas, I seem to have failed. (...) It was agreed that the British and Americans would not advance on Berlin to make sure the Russians had the "honor" of taking (...) (24 years ago, 7-Sep-01, to lugnet.off-topic.debate)

(Not to go off to a tangent, but that's why I had so much fun in my American Studies class, a combination of English and U.S. History... they were two seperate classes but the (...)   Re: Is the last prophecy changing?

(...) Another (perhaps more interesting) point is the timing of events. Before the last panel was changed, both the last two panels had the same 'timestamp, now they're different with the new end time. The game was slotted to finish dec25, now the (...)   Re: Excellent article

(...) I would hope that everyone would like to see 20-year longitudinal studies. Then we would have some real knowledge to bandy about. (...) How? It didn't actually do anything. That is a good article. I'm sure someone wants numbers and links to twenty-year studies, but I have to say it was good.   Assorted Mecha Studies

Hello all, Just wanted to point you to some mecha that I built recently. There are three models in all. My goal was to integrate as much posablilty as possible; posability that holds weight and is easy to articulate. You'll see what I mean when you (...) (...) Let's be realistic here: there is no *carnage*! I don't even agree that we have a "gun problem". The fact is - *less than* ONE PERCENT of firearms are used illegally! Doesn't sound like much of a problem to me. There are over 200 million guns (...) (24 years ago, 18-Jul-01, to lugnet.off-topic.debate)

Evolution of Earth and moon (was: Couldn't resist)
