Re: Remington: my Brickfest05 Super-Mega Sumobot

Steve/All, I just found this followup; I'd somehow missed it back in October. Many apologies, please don't read anything into the delay... (...) Yes, the roller is intended to detect (lack of) motion. It turns out it didn't help me much in the (...) (19 years ago, 27-Dec-05, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: new robotag movies

Actually that is not a bug. It defies logic to think it IS a bug. The AI that recognizes a URL in Outlook and Outlook Express looks for certain things, like the URL: and HTTP: designators with text immediately following (this means no space). It (...)   Re: Proper place to post US S@H Phone Specials

(...) Hrmmm, not so sure it would be pure noise for non-U.S. people. I think the US S@H specials can help to foster the formation of trading partnerships among all the world's Legomaniacs. "Hey, I'm in the UK and I saw this was on special - how (...) (26 years ago, 31-Dec-98, to lugnet.admin.general)

  Instructions...galore.

Hi folks, Today, I have somehow come into the posession of several hundred, nay, a thousand or two Lego set instructions. Four large boxes of them from the last few years (maybe anywhere from 1 to 10 years old) and pretty well everything--Duplo to (...) (20 years ago, 9-Jul-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  limp-in mode

whilst perusing my '88 Dodge Dakota manual, looking for engine light codes and what they stand for, I read that the truck has a 'limp in' mode, meaning that if there was an issue that the truck computer noticed, the computer would still allow you to (...)   Re: Clubs/Events - Tips and Tricks

I am writing things up for our club, and will get you a copy once finished. In brief, the number one thing is getting a club started, is, as stated by others, leadership.   Re: 2004 Catalog Sighting

Funny thing, I noticed this thread as I was looking for a newsgroup to post this to. Forgive me if this doesn't come up as a followup - the LUGNET posting system doesn't like me for some reason, so I have to do everything by email. Well, here's your (...)   Perspective of a Burnout -- TEXLUG's Big Train Meeting (Fall 2002)
