Re: Apathy? (was: WAMALUG's GATS Layout was a huge success!)

(...) Oh, and another thing. DO NOT do things because you want adulation from Lugnetters... do them because you want to. Did you have fun at the show? Did the people who came have fun? GMLTC labored in obscurity for years (and Conan for years before (...) (25 years ago, 1-Mar-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.org.us, lugnet.org.us.wamalug)

(...) Not from me. I've just been time and connectivity challenged over the last week. The pics I saw (in the brief moments I've had) are amazing. Well it's correct for steam locomotives and shunters (switchers) (counting the wheels) but there is a newer system for diesel and electric locomotives: Powered Axles are given letters A=1, B=2, etc. Unpowered axles are given numbers for each (...) (...) <snip> You can also try the small bands sold for tying up hair into ponytails. You can get a package of about a zillion for a couple of dollars. They are usually different sizes, but you should be able to find something that fits. JohnG, GMLTC (25 years ago, 1-Mar-00, to lugnet.trains)
