RE: A Parental Perspective on Juniorisation and Being the Stronge st Brand

The catalogue was an Australian stop-gap catalogue [hence no official lego number, just a (C) lego message] to let parents and kids know there were more new sets on the way before the true second catalogue of the year is released. I've put a link to (...) (24 years ago, 14-Jul-00, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.au)

Re: U.S.S. Grand Rapids for the GATS

(...) We *can* do that, you know. Just takes time and money. GMLTC layout is modular and loads onto a custom trailer. Takes a bit more than 5 min to set up but not much more. Just time (a lot of it) and money (a lot of it). That's all we need. (...) (23 years ago, 30-Jun-01, to lugnet.org.us.michlug)

Any sightings of the new Catalog in Aus yet?

So, has someone found Catalog 2 (other than the teaser) and is currently gleefully keeping a really good secret? Well, I can hope... I know they never come out when they are supposed to. Do Aus Lego World Club members get sent the catalogs? There (...) (24 years ago, 12-Jul-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: Building priorities (was Re: U.S.S. Grand Rapids for the GATS)

(...) I don't think we'd have a real problem with a policy like this. If you look at out January display, we filled--what was it, 18x24?--a layout and had very few stock buildings. Lots of stock cars and train parts, but really not that many stock (...) (23 years ago, 1-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.us.michlug)

Re: Crashing your Lego creation safely...

(...) I have finally determined the UH-60 L crash site will be a carpeted wide walkway at my job. It's got that thin industrial carpet and directly underneath is concrete. Hard yet with a not-so-abrasive-to-piece thin carpet layer. The area is wide (...) (24 years ago, 12-Jul-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.general)

Ambassador train for the PNLTC layout at LEGOLAND

Toolo 2 [action wheelers] available in Aus

I've just returned from Target in Box-Hill where I saw the first of the Action wheelers. From what I saw, the sets appear compatible with toolo, so for those who have toolo, these will provide more colour and parts to your collection. One other (...)
