I like Pere Marquette. It's an easy herald to do... Nice fully saturated
medium sort of royal blue rectangle, with Pere Marquette in a san serif
(sort of Arial) font in white.
The downside is it is not very recognisable, the style of the Milwaulkee
road herald that GMLTC is recognisable... no matter what the lettering in
it. Ditto for Southern Railway that GMLTC did.
I will keep looking this week. Anyone else have any ideas? I really am keen
on coming up with a rail logo. The default if we cannot do that is to use
the logo that Amy did, it's good enough as a place holder, rather than doing
anything new with train track, etc.

| Larry and all, Sorry I have been late in responding, I was rather busy this morning. (Gotta love metric badly dimensioned drawings!) (...) Right. Is there a defunct rail company around here that has a symbol or something? That would be nifty. Or is (...) (23 years ago, 26-Jun-01, to lugnet.org.us.michlug)
