4x16 is the base dimension, I think a standard container is 3 bricks and two
plates high of vertical surface. See here:
http://www.brickshelf.com/scans/4000/4549/4549-04.html
(I build containers that conform to that standard)
Note that it would be best not to use the two plates, stick to just 3 bricks
high, becaues the plates aren't as good to adhere to.
WORSE though... One of the containers will be "in the well" and thus some of
the space is covered and should not have a sticker on it. If one of the
stickers has less text that would be a good candidate for the one that would
need to be smaller vertically. (2 bricks high is all that is safe, the well
takes up a a brick worth of height.
The car will not look exactly like this, it will be a new design but here is
an idea of what the well does.
http://my0.voyager.net/54/04/lar/Y_5cont_endunit_side.JPG
I favor this design because it can be shorter than a 4549/4559/4561 base in
length.
If 2 bricks is too restrictive for the sticker, maybe we do two cars with
blank lower containers, or maybe we go ahead and do the 4549/4559/4561
baseplate based design...
