| | Teaser: New Driver Wheel
|
| A friendly elf visited the GMLTC last night, and had real life copies of a new driver wheel, very similar in design to the proposed one discussed here in .trains for the last several days. Elf said I could post a notice about it... So I can say (...) (21 years ago, 7-Nov-03, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

| (...) Hmmm... A "little more information"... Hmmm... How to put this... How about, "Cheaper than I had expected", or "cheaper than what I had considered a 'fair price'"... I'll leave the actual dollar amount to the Elf, for whenever they're ready to (...) (21 years ago, 7-Nov-03, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

| | Brickworld 2011 - Coming Soon
|
| Hey everyone... Just a teaser... We have been working hard to get ready for Brickworld 2011. There are several changes coming to the event based on your feedback in the survey over the summer. As always, there is room for improvement and we are (...) (14 years ago, 2-Dec-10, to lugnet.events.brickworld, FTX)

| (...) Yep, it's the 'sand red' bricks, with grey and black highlights. (highdarks?) Ricky used a bunch of the bulk packs that I bought - before I even had a chance to use them! <pout> I think I'll ask him "how are you going to get my bricks out of (...) (23 years ago, 23-Aug-01, to lugnet.trains)

| I just uploaded a couple more pictures of our 'town' sections. Our completed train station: (URL) close-up of the clock tower, using official LEGO watches: (URL) another 'downtown' shot, showing a few more of our completed and in-progress buildings: (...) | (...) That's because we've got more 8-wide rolling stock built than we have spare space to store it! <grin> As you might be able to tell, we don't have a lot of room in Conan's basement. It's a good thing we all get along pretty well, because our (...) (23 years ago, 22-Aug-01, to lugnet.trains)

| (...) Those are the 1x6x2 tall arches from the Star Wars Podracer bucket. Tan tiles allow the bottom one to be inverted without too much difficulty. There is one plate between them, so the height is just a bit too tall. I put a black wall behind the (...) (23 years ago, 22-Aug-01, to lugnet.trains)

|
| Hi! Yeah sorry, I should really create a hole for the webserver to talk to the database on www.gmltc.org again. Maybe this weekend. I've pretty much come off of being a full time member but since everyone else I know who reads is out of town, I get (...) (23 years ago, 3-Aug-01, to lugnet.trains)

|
| Although if I keep posting 'teaser' pictures, I'll reveal *all* our secrets before the layout is even done! Anyway, here's a shot of Abner and a few of our 'downtown' buildings. No, he's not playing Godzilla, he's fine-tuning his sand green bank (...) (23 years ago, 27-Jul-01, to lugnet.trains)
