Re: Pictures of 'Bionicle-Castle' sets, from UK club magazine

(...) Huw, thanks for the scan. My first thought is: How can these be called "castle"? Yea, I realize they're supposed to be some sort of knight, but where's the actual "castle"? I'd suggest calling them "Bionicle Knights", since in order to build (...) (21 years ago, 19-Nov-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.technic)

Re: Petition against permanent color changes

(...) A "big, shiny marketing campaign" isn't going to happen here. LEGO will just start putting the new colors into sets, and hope people don't notice that the parts don't match their existing collection of pieces. Here on LUGNET where some of the (...)   Re: New colors and other info

(...) Wow, I had heard a rumour about this last year, and was afraid that it was true... LEGO has been going crazy with bringing out new colors over the last few years. How many of us remember when there were only 10 or 12 colors produced? I sure (...) (21 years ago, 18-Nov-03, to lugnet.general, FTX)

(...) Congratulations, Aaron!! Can you describe how the 'event' went? Maybe your ideas as to why you were selected over the other people there? Go ahead, brag (a little) -- you've earned it! And best of luck in January!! JohnG, GMLTC (21 years ago, 14-Nov-03, to lugnet.events, FTX)

  Re: Space helmet

(...) Whuah??? I know the set designers have to modify bricks, since they usually end up designing new elements. A friend of mine was a set designer for a while, he designed the [LEGOSet 7130]and a few others... But Master Builders? We've always (...) Thanks kindly Will...I appreciate the comments and the second peek! Looking at some of the pullbacks, I was thinking about incorporating it orginally, but then as it developed from the pub coaster sketch, the main beam of the body became reduced to (...)   Re: why do people hate builders

(...) Right, this design is not as strong in the lateral direction as a more dense lattice.
