I've got torso's like this in other sets. Since I don't have any of the soccer sets I'd have to say they are the only ones with it. I noticed this too.. I believe it began with the new Ninjas that I really noticed it.. don't remember getting many (...) (25 years ago, 11-May-99, to lugnet.general)

And what about going a step more?..I mean creating a new subdirectory named like "shorts" for the shortcuts. If you think about it, you can see that we have much of them (minifig, hinges, turntables, suspensions, universal joint, wheel holders, (...) (26 years ago, 27-Mar-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Good as any guesses, but a little logic can go a long ways... First a couple of givens. A minifig scale Millennium Falcon or AT-AT would simply have way too many pieces to be a normal Lego set costing less then $150. Thus they will not be produced. (...)   Star Wars sets are a dream come true
 
A couple of weeks ago, my dad passed on some old pictures of our family when we were kids. Many of the photos show me playing with Lego (it's all I really did as a kid) One picture shows me with a model of an X-wing made out of Lego. The year was (...) (...) Is it safe to do a comparison to the original Kenner toys?IIRC, the MF toy was about 2 feet (61 cm) across. Would minifig scale be, say, 1.5 feet (45 cm) then? I've got a few 5906 Ruler of the Jungle, sealed in the box, fresh from the UK. Here's a picture of the box (URL) I'm not sure how many pieces it is, but its the Ruler minifig w/spear, a spider, and a little tiki looking thing on a 4x4 plate. This is (...)
