  Re: Jeremy Sproat

  Thank you LEGO!

I recently picked up a 7146 TIE Fighter and to my horror discovered my very first misprinted part - the stormtrooper helmet had grey smears over the front where the 2 left hand grey blobs had been misplaced and then something handled that area. (...) <snip my own post> Yes - minifig scale. But all of the articulation is really hard to do well that small. I think next I might try one posed taking off instead of hunched down. It is only a sculpture, so a rough representation would be okay, (...) (24 years ago, 2-Apr-01, to lugnet.castle)

Re: The Ubiquitous Half Stud Width Offset (and how to use it)

Good article, Paul. I'm glad to see that someone else endorses the half-stud as much as I do. I've found that in many of my models, the most appropriate size for minifig scale sections is an *odd* number of studs across - particularly 7 or 9. This (...) (24 years ago, 23-Mar-01, to lugnet.space)
