  Re: Minifig box 2 :)

(...) I got this box from Tom yesterday, and traded about a dozen or so figures - took out mostly western types, put in original Blacktron (2 or 3) and some town people. Fixed a broken bike and added an extra one, as well as a few other accessories. (...) (25 years ago, 19-Dec-99, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

  Shoddy MF

It's true. The worthless picture that was posted a few weeks ago is the MF that will be released with some minor changes. For all of those who claimed we should have more faith in TLG... now what?! I gave TLG the benefit of the doubt when it (...) (25 years ago, 9-Nov-99, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: All black 5542

Dang, now I'm going to have to buy another 5542, and dig out my black train windows ;-) How about closeups of the minigun? Is the minifig holding it, or is it mounted? It looks neat, I'm trying to think up different ways to swivelmount it with what (...) (25 years ago, 13-Nov-99, to lugnet.build, lugnet.publish, lugnet.modelteam)

Two female minifigs in castle 2000?

In the new 2000 catalog there appear to be two female minifigs in castle set 6091. Beside the maiden minifig it looks like one of the knights is female also! If you look closely at the face of the knight with red legs just to the right of the king (...) (25 years ago, 16-Nov-99, to lugnet.castle)

(...) After peeling my eyebrows of the roof and my jaw off the carpet (don't try *that* at home, kiddies) I have to say "WOW!!!!!!!!" No appologies needed for the web page.   My thoughts on the new Castle line

General Comments (mostly negative): 1. The Maiden appears to come only in the largest set (6091) - arghh! 2. Visored helmets are back!! 3. Why did they do the tower peaks in blue again - I'd kill for those in red!! 4. Stained glass decal - there is (...) (25 years ago, 10-Nov-99, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Age average

Yeah, I´m 14 and if I had a job, then you would see the biggest lego town you´ve ever seen! I´d buy mindstorms and multiple copies of minifig packs, buy sets, sort out the parts I wanted and then throw away the rest. But I don´t have a job, so I (...) (25 years ago, 13-Nov-99, to lugnet.people)

Re: Could Arctic windows = ATAT windows?

(...) Yep. They look like they're 4 studs wide, which is a bit too narrow. The actual width of the front viewscreen on the AT-AT should be roughly 8 feet wide (give or take a foot) which would be about 7 studs wide in minifig scale. Mine AT-AT's (...)   New Castle? Huzzah!

So I've gone and looked (as I'm sur eall of you have) at the new catalog scans on brickshelf. What can I say? It looks like Castle is on the upswing after FK.
