  Re: Amtrak F 7 version 3

(...) I use two individual light bulbs. The kind that come in the train light service pack with black "t-shaped" brick. These light bulb 1x2 bricks with the light bulb facing forward fit nicely into the side-hole of a technic beam. A 1x1x1 clear (...) (25 years ago, 17-Oct-99, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Fair Lego Seller's site?

(...) From what I've gathered in my light scanning of the various sources of eBay conditions is that they have sets of woolly and sometimes contradictory sounding regulations. Whether this is because they are inept or whether it is because having (...) (25 years ago, 31-Oct-99, to lugnet.market.theory, lugnet.general)

Re: Age range 16+ (was: Re: 2000 Scans are Online!)

(...) My guess is that it has something to do with how they expect the set to be used: this probably isn't the kind of model a young kid can 'whoosh' around a lot with in the living room - it's pretty clear they're thinking this is going to be (...)   Re: Policy clarification regarding catalogs

(...) And so a rather uninformed US judge has recently ruled. I don't suppose anyone wants to relocate the lugnet server to anywhere else but Australia or Hongkong? I think it's a _very_ sad day to see Lego take this stance. To get my position clear (...) (25 years ago, 17-Dec-99, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: No new space sets?

(...) This gives me some amusement because you could see the introduction of the minifigure and the first line of "classic space" as just being "concerned with making money and exploiting trends" as well. Star Wars was the rage by the (...) (25 years ago, 7-Jan-00, to lugnet.space)

No, no I meant my post as something independent of the stuff you all were discussing, jesting, about. I just want to know the thought process behind 6 or 8 wide. I have followed several threads but it just isn't clear to me. The only thing I can (...) (25 years ago, 8-Feb-00, to lugnet.trains)

Piggyback trailer grabber made from container grabber.

Check out my Allanton's Latest News page for photos of my piggyback trailer grabber for loading trailers onto the flat wagons. The grabber automatically latches under the bottom of the trailer as it is lowered. It is hinged to clear the trailer when (...)   Re: Announcing Brickshelf.com Gallery for everyone!

(...) I'd say if anything it's in the really really long-term plan -- someday when bandwidth grows on trees. Image hosting was the very first thing Suzanne and I talked about doing back in the summer of '96 but as soon as it became clear that places (...) (25 years ago, 14-Feb-00, to lugnet.publish)
