Okay, I've redesigned my minifig posable horse. The result is now a little more to the same scale as a minifig, and generally it looks better and more horse-like. It still has 11 pivot points. hello! (...) I always appreciate things that are built with bricks rather than using one big molded piece. So you earn a laud for this in any case. Alan, My record is less than spotty, as I'm more of a lurker than a poster, but I liked this one a lot so I thought I'd respond. As a fan of lego stop-motion-animation, this is desperately needed.
