  Brick Bash 2006 A Success!

Brick Bash 2006 was held on Saturday, March 11, in Ann Arbor, Michigan. This was the second year for this event, and it was a great success, experiencing a growth of more than 200% from the previous year. Thirteen exhibitors from around the Great (...)   Re: Hobby Show--huh??

(...) Hey guys, This is insane. If Hobby Show wants us there, they can pay for tables and electricity. If they can't, I guess they can take any mention of Lego off their website, and pictures of anything we've done. I'm sick of these cheapskates (...) He looks like the rabbit from Wallace and Gromit's latest film - and I really like the look on the face - the nuanced emotions you can get from your sculptures is simply amazing!   Re: Ideas and Suggestions for LEGO S@H

Jake has mentioned that old greys would be scattered here and there in sets. I'd like to see a S@H "grab bag" of misc grey parts, available at a price point equal to the buckets. That I'll never see ;-) (...) (19 years ago, 23-Sep-05, to lugnet.general)

(...) Put all of the Pick-a-Brick inventories online and keep them current. The stores will ship but we need to know what they have. I've been working with José David Parra on the next version of his (URL) RCX.NET> project, because 1.) the NXT system is coming out, and 2.) RCX.NET is basically a .NET wrapper of Spirit.ocx, which means it's not so nice to program with. Another (...)   Re: Hobby Show--huh??

(...) I totally agree on both points. My understanding of the previous years was that the display booths were there to draw in the crowds and the vendors then paid to have their booths and sell to the people attending.   Diagon Alley at TRU

This may well be old news, but TRU (Chatswood) has Diagon Alleys at $A14.98. A good deal for some tres useful parts. They had the Hot Rod marked at $A69.99, too (though it scanned $A41.99). Cheers Richie (19 years ago, 22-Sep-05, to lugnet.loc.au)
