Re: New Images of 2006 Trains

(...) Presumably you could make something like an articlated lorry, with the motor in the cab and the baseplate for the trailer. If you fitted an anti-jack-knifing mechanism you could get some control through reverse steering too. Then again, you (...) (19 years ago, 22-Feb-06, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

  Re: Aerotrain/hovertrain in Lego?

  Few more questions

How many robots are coming? I'm asking because if I build a hopper to old 10 blocks, the hopper scratches the 1 foot high mark on my 'bot. Sure I could make it more complicated, but... ;) A more important question, however, is the scoring.. If half (...) (19 years ago, 20-Feb-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

(...) The question is just how much of this is handled at what level within the NXT firmware & software. I'd be surprised if LEGO doesn't do *something* with the built-in encoders - after all, *they* put them there. the question is how much. The (...) (19 years ago, 22-Feb-06, to lugnet.robotics)

  Motor Analysis

The FLL team that I mentor has several hundred motors, both the new and the old ones. This wealth of motors got me thinking "Well, out of that size a sample, there's gotta be two that are perfectly matched, and some that are close. I should analyze (...)
