(...) Well, I'll tell you what. What we are talking about here are apple and orange AFOLs. You are the type of AFOL who likes to build and collect *sets*. You pine for the old days when sets "were still good". Me? I am the exact opposite. I look (...) (24 years ago, 14-Feb-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)

  Sucking Steve's balls -

In another thread Derek implied that if we used the soccer balls that Steve has distributed to the Lego community, then robots built for r22 and a Tic Tac Toe game would only have one solution. "...   Re: LEGOs dirty trick: making money by not producing all masks as announced.

(...) how the quality of the Lego brick is way down. Anyone that has old Lego can put it sid by side with the new ones and can see that there are huge differences in the quality. Here are a few: 1.   Re: maledetto nastro adesivo...

(...) Ehm... cos'è la nitro...glicerina? Avevo usato un volgarissimo nastro adesivo cinesino, serviva per fissare il foglio di carta alla struttura dei bricks (poiché la struttura a coperchio non faceva praticamente alcuna presa). alf (18 years ago, 16-Mar-07, to lugnet.org.it.itlug)

Two little but interesting things about the box art

Replying to my own post, *sigh* Dontcha hate it when you forget to mention stuff and then you gotta type more stuff and then proofread that new stuff?   Viking Fortress Colour Oddity

Hi, I sorted a: [LEGOSet 7019] ...and oddly, the treasure chest had an old brown base, and a new brown lid. Weird. First time I've noticed a mix of old and new in a set, but also odd in that it would seem that treasure chests and treasure chest lids (...)
