| | Re: Part 3650a
|
| Here's a resurrection of an OLD thread... :-) I've recently begun to store all my TECHNIC sets, which range from about 1988 to present, all have been stored MISB (well, OK, they've been stored in the original box after I opened, inventoried by bag, (...) | (...) Yeah, you're right, Tim. I have been particularily guilty WRT providing feedback as of late (this whole year in fact), all the while lamenting in private the decline of posting overall on LUGNET. I have seen the enemy, and it is me:-) I call (...) (18 years ago, 11-Oct-06, to lugnet.general, FTX)

| | Re: what's left for LEGO to make?
|
| (...) Personally, I'd love to see Star Wars freestyle buckets. The podrace bucket was a sad start, but along those lines...just because TLC has run out of actual star wars sets to build doesn't mean they can't make star wars branded items with a (...) (24 years ago, 19-Mar-01, to lugnet.starwars)

| | Re: Falsification or unreleased
|
| (...) Those "sets" look top-notch! They really capture the style of the old Lego System models. Now, it would be interesting to see if someone could feasably produce a production run of these sets. I, for one, would be interesting in buying one! (...) (18 years ago, 9-Oct-06, to lugnet.western)

| (...) I am really liking this 5 wide van. I just love to look of the dk gray headlight bricks on their backs with the bleu-cheese slopes on them. It creates a cool grill look. Very nice. Best, Jonathan (17 years ago, 21-May-07, to lugnet.town, FTX)

| | Re: Module idea for new layout section

| (...) This is exciting news, Jonathan, and reminds me of how the TCLTC layout got started-- section by section. I have only one suggestion to throw out to you for consideration-- how about building up 17 1/3 studs and putting in a ping-ponging (...) (17 years ago, 21-May-07, to lugnet.town, FTX)

| | Re: Nearly 30 Years of Juniorization!

| (...) Um, according to my instructions, 378 has exactly one standard 2x4 brick. It also has a 1x2 brick, a 1x2 tile, a 2x2 brick, a printed 1x2 brick, 2 2x4 plates, a 1x1 cylinder, 2 4x8 plates, and a 2x8 plate for "basic" bricks and plates. (...) (...) | | strange piece
|
| A few months ago in a large lot acquisition I found these 2 strange red bricks: they have a 2x3 plate base, and sticking vertically up from one of the ends is a triangular "thing" that goes up 3 units. For some reason I think they are from a ship or (...) (24 years ago, 17-Mar-01, to lugnet.general)

| | What size do you build your five-wide containers?
|
| Hi all, As a recent convertee to five-wide containers I'm really curious what dimensions other people working with that width use. At present I'm using a 5x12 footprint (or larger multiples of six for larger containers), a main height of 5 bricks (...) (17 years ago, 19-May-07, to lugnet.trains)

| Just curious - do you save the boxes from your Lego sets, and/or the catalogs, or do you only keep the instructions? I'm cleaning up my Lego collection a little bit today, and I realize that I have (just about?) all of the mail-order catalogs from (...) (21 years ago, 15-Apr-04, to lugnet.general)
