Re: PNLTC Beaverton Mall Show Pics are Up!

Greg- Yes, this system does allow adjacent buildings to be connected, implementing Matt's sidewalk standard. We've used it many times with much success, and it's a BEAUTIFUL design. It sure works well with a team of design/builders, so that one (...) (22 years ago, 23-Jul-02, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Nicely now. What do you think of the new colors?

Without going too far down the 'I remember when' line. We all agree colour and colour range are an important aspect (even if the word is incorrectly spelt). Too me the Lego colours have also been a source of the charm of the product. The simple (...) (21 years ago, 15-Jan-04, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.general)

  Re: 2002 NELUG wall calendar

Dangerously, I got to thinking again... (...) Agreed, definitely no argument. In my mind I was thinking b+1 if anything. I just wanted to acknowledge that it's a bad idea to screen a photo in full- color... you tend to lose the yellows, bright (...) (23 years ago, 12-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.us.nelug, lugnet.publish)

  Re: Finding Lego

(...) Oh yeah, but not when they act as miniture rollerskates! haha (...) Well, the thing is, I think as a good parent, you'd know if your child is ready to play with Lego or not. I mean if all your kids do is stick them in their mouths, then it (...) (23 years ago, 3-Aug-01, to lugnet.general)

Re: Whatever Happened to Time Twisters?

(...) Not sure if you mean this literally but the simple answer is that the theme was cancelled by LEGO (1997/8?). The general charge leveled at LEGO by many folks in these forums is probably true - the company "created" the theme as a way to make (...) (22 years ago, 8-Jun-02, to lugnet.general)

  Re: rtl10 robot roll call

Just like Rob, I'm getting my info in a bit late.... It was a lot of fun to build the robot, but also quite challenging. I don't think I've ever built something this complex, nor spent so much time on 1 LEGO project, as I did on this Xbot. (...) (23 years ago, 25-Feb-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: New colors and other info

(...) The Peeron page is official? Cool! Now, is someone willing to organize it in such a way that it shows why these colors needed to be changed? Wait, that didn't quite sound right. Try again: It's great that these are 'official'. But a long (...) (21 years ago, 20-Nov-03, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: !!! Laser attachments for Mindstorms !!!

I mean, if Lugnet was an even distribution of people of all (...) (23 years ago, 27-Apr-01, to lugnet.general)

The GMLTC used 30"x45" tables for our last layout (actually just a skosh longer on each dimension to avoid module buckling). This size is convenient because (...)   An attempt to get back on track with my CW questions.
