  12 Tooth bevel gear case
 
I am having the hardest time coming up with a gearbox that allows a 90 degree turn using the 12 tooth bevel gears or conical wheels. Every time i try to make one, the gears skip, or simply snap. Some of the pieces are very cool, I like the stacking cones, I wish Lego would do something like that, as they would make a great "point" at the end to a weapon or (...) (...) That'd be me :-) Using the "unzip the .lxf" technique explained here... (URL) I managed to rotate and offset the bricks at will, so it's possible to position them just right.
