Re: Press release for LEGO Collectors Guide

(...) No one is more curious than I as to what the 800 page book will contain! :-D From the bits and pieces I've gotten off of Bricklink here's sort of what type of information will be included on each set... 1) A photograph of the box. 2) The years (...)   1980's Town Instructions Sale

Again, cleaning out my Lego closet... found a lot of interesting old Town set instructions from the 1980's. These have never been used, but some may have been handled once or twice, and are labeled "near mint". I also have a few really nice ones (...)   Pat Pend Parts (3P)

Hi, I was sorting some old bricks and plates and was amazed to find so much Pat Pend Parts (3P). I've found mainly 2x4 and 2x3 bricks because they are easy to distinguish (they don't have ribs). I've found also some 2x2 and 2x8 bricks and (...) (20 years ago, 15-Mar-05, to lugnet.parts)

  Brickworld 2008... not

Okay, sorry for the tease in the subject, but as I'm getting reading for Brickworld, I was finally able to upload a few pictures of a train MOC from last summer. And it has been almost a month since we've seen any new train MOCs posted. (2 URLs) I (...) (16 years ago, 18-Jun-08, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.announce.moc, FTX)

  Cleaning old Lego

Hi all, Just requesting a bit of advice from you Lego experts. What the best way to clean old Lego? I have some vintage Lego that is quite grubby from years of play and wish to restore it as best I can. Any suggestions will be gratefully received. (...)   Re: LUGNET is moving servers once more

(...) Hi Marco, I must have phrased it in a confusing way then - the announcement was meant to say that the site was moved 1:1 - so the fact that we are reading and writing here means that LUGNET _is_ actually now running on a cloud-based server.   Re: Appraiser for collection

(...) Some very good observations and points. A set only has a value if someone wants to buy it. To sell a substantial collection at one time would probably be impossible. If the collection is large, few people would have the money at one time to (...) (16 years ago, 14-May-08, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

Hi everybody, the server move as such has been very successful this time as opposed to previous moves. Not only did the move just take a mere 2 hours, primarily due to the low bandwidth available to transfer all the files and fix a few settings. (...)
