  Re: PCS Recon Lunar Lander

(...) And the spacemen rejoiced. Thanks Allister. It's good to actually have some time to build and get some new stuff out there. Just need to shake some of the rust off. (...)   Re: Coolest LEGO Experience?

(...) Since I've been playing with these silly plastic bricks for over 35 years (!), there have been a lot of 'cool' LEGO experiences. But, if you're asking me to pick just one, I'll pick the day that the movie "Jingle All the Way" was being filmed (...) (22 years ago, 10-Dec-02, to lugnet.general, lugnet.people)

Re: New colors and other info

(...) I hate to sound negative in my response but this color modification news is a bit disappointing. Perhaps I am just a little too traditional in my Lego values, but a modification to the color palette doesn’t seem to be consistent with people’s (...)   Re: Lego Volvo

(...) Thanks for pointing this out. Moral conundrums aside, it is very cool. I was amused by the comment in the article: "although not drivable" as if that's a surprise to them. Let's see, wheels and drivetrain made of ABS bricks, hmmm... So, am I (...) (20 years ago, 17-Apr-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.legoland.california)

Re: What non-LEGO entities are lurking in your LEGO collection?

What, separated from (the bulk of) your LEGO bricks? How can you stand it? Actually, when I moved out of my parents house into a condo, I didn't have room for my LEGO collection, so I "convinced" myself I was too old for them anyhow. Now that I (...) (25 years ago, 7-Mar-00, to lugnet.general)

  RE: Lego "pegging" disks

Ah yes, I still have quite a few of these pieces, especially the wheels with metal axles and the bricks that accept them. The belt Mario mentioned is great and can be used to turn rotation into linear motion, but it works with the old gears only and (...) (25 years ago, 14-May-99, to lugnet.robotics)
