Re: What Bulk Parts for Offset? (was:Re: New Look for old trains)

(...) snip older stuff Yep, you got all the ones I am worrying about on your list. The 1x2 center stud tile/plate. (Using a bunch of these to fake a door railing on a box car. I'll be reclaiming them shortly. You need a lot of these when you build (...) (24 years ago, 18-Jan-01, to lugnet.trains)

  Drab box #1 update (finally!)

Ok, sorry it took me so long to get this one underway(1), but it's out the door and on its merry way via Air to Kevin Wilson in B.C. Part of what took so long is that it cycled through 6 people while it was in Edmonton (me, my wife, Chris Grey, John (...) (25 years ago, 3-Sep-99, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

  LEGO meeting the engraver

Hi All, After long consideration I decided to mutilate bricks. I have resorted to only de-facing then so far. One might say its more like a 3D decal, others my scoff. This is what LEGO designers do, so why not. We have directly influenced them on (...) (22 years ago, 10-May-02, to lugnet.trains)

NSW 40 Class Diesel...New And Improved

Growing tired of the same old red routine I used in building my locomotives, I decided to try this one using the classic black and gray motif... (...) Great research, by the way. I would have taken longer to find out LEGO references in Bayer's website, mainly because I were not *expecting* there would be any... turns out they are proud of their role as suppliers - and they have reasons for (...)   Re: TLG investigation

Hello Jeroen, Thank you for contacting us. TLG has not done much to acknowledge that LEGO has adult followers. As someone who has been in contact with TLG personnel over the years (even USA TLG President Peter Eio), I know that your company has (...) (26 years ago, 16-Feb-99, to lugnet.dear-lego)

It's only a guess but perhaps they picked that sort of ratio to make sure that it would be easier for small kids to play with them - having a 1-1 ratio might be more confusing for kiddies who are just about getting old enough to work out which way (...)   New Dark Red???

Hi, Do the new Friends sets have a "different" dark red, and if so, what is it called? The new Friends sets advertised many new colors and I noticed that when I got 3061 (City Park Cafe), it had a different dark red color. It seems to have a bit (...) (12 years ago, 6-Jul-12, to lugnet.color)
