Re: Streamlining the parts selling process

(...) This discussion is getting me thinking about how to clear out some of the parts overstock I'm experiencing. I have not typically been buying sets to break down for parts, but there are some types of parts which are probably desireable that I (...) (24 years ago, 29-Nov-00, to lugnet.market.theory)

(...) Cool! Really looks like it might have appeared in the 12V line. Excellent use of clear bricks. One question: I like the way you used the 1x2 with handle plate on the sides, but what did it represent. A door? Maybe I'm not familiar enough with (...) I don't want to rekindle an old argument, or to start something I can't finish, but... Pshaw! I went to the Zany Brainy store in Montclair CA looking for the Chrome Castle sets [not there:o(] and found that they had a cardboard retail stand up display including all of the mini-Adventurers sets 5911, 5912, 5913 and 5914. I'd recommend Nevr-Dull because Brasso is too abrasive. Nevr-Dull will leave the glossy finish of new bricks and remove paint quite quickly. It's great for removing paint from prepainted pieces, so fresh paint like yours should be even easier. Dave (...) (21 years ago, 25-Nov-03, to lugnet.general)
