Re: Do you separate old vs. new LEGO?

(...) I do not segregate new from old. In fact, I like the variation of wear/scratches/dirt that old bricks have. IMO, it makes buildings look more realistic. A building of all brand new bricks is just too shiny and pristine for me. (25 years ago, 13-May-99, to lugnet.build)

Bulk Bricks - Are we ever going to get a wider choice?

Were coming up to the 1st anniversary of the on-line shop and the availability of bulk bricks. So why a year later has the range of bricks on offer barely changed? OK, so we had some new colours thrown into the mix - sand, green, brown - but the (...) (23 years ago, 24-Aug-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Hi, Personally, I have no problem with the new colours. I can remember getting gray 1x1x1 clips in the mid-80s that didn't match the gray of other bricks, I thought it strange, but it didn't really bother me. My only concern with a colour change is (...)
