Re: Microsoft and LEGO Company Announce a Shared Doom

(...) So long as TLG remains privately owned, they remain free from hordes of stock analysts and professional chattering classes (and Yahoo Finance yahoos) telling them how they should run the company. "Come out with movie tie-ins! Everybody else is (...) (24 years ago, 13-Jan-01, to lugnet.general)

  Re: House of Bricks Report

I also want to congratulate everyone involved in making this possible. It made my return to the Windy City the bestest ever!   partlist key for mrob's inventories, 19990806

This is an update of my part number database. It is provided to make it easier to use my inventories. It only lists parts that appear in inventories that I have created, or inventories created by others which I have double-checked and verified. (...) (25 years ago, 6-Aug-99, to lugnet.db.inv)

I am, of course, proud of this castle; I've showed it to many people over the years, but it's strange to finally share it with my peers (not necessarily chronological peers as 'peers of interest') and not be so (...)   Re: some new and some old stuff

(...) Interesting that you make that comment, Bob. That ship was inspired by your set of civilian freighters (especially the 2nd). I like the way you rely more on basic bricks to sculpt ships rather than relying on specialized peices. Felix (23 years ago, 21-Mar-02, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Quality issue - update

(...) Hmm. In the realm of tangential anecdotal evidence, I bought the Mini-Robots (4097) set. I noticed that many of the 1x1 elements coming with the set, such as cylinders, 1x1 bricks with technic holes, headlight bricks, etc seemed to be having (...)   Re: Brickbay is available and running on a new server

(...) Hi, As owner of the "Missing Brick" I am very unhappy to hear this. I checked, and it indeed takes a lomg while for the shop to load (but it eventually does) . The other shops you indicated also have, like me, a very large variety of bricks (I (...) (23 years ago, 10-Aug-01, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

Re: Minitalia Lego sets (from Italy)

(...) A friend of mine in Germany sent me 3 red 2x4 bricks and a window from the Minitalia line. The bricks look sort of like regular LEGO (with different studs), but the window really stunned me.   Missing item number in latest Shop At Home catalog?
