LEGO finds at Bricks&Blocks in Cookstown

The B&B has a huge amount of star wars Episode I stuff on sale, mainly in those double packages. Calum, I know you were looking for the Slave I (the old one) in a combo pack, and they had lots. 7161 Gungan sub + 7121 Naboo Swamp = $40 7144 Slave I + (...)   Re: Goodbye Lego and thanks for all the bricks

(...) Relax... they'll come up with a replacement for the 3033 blue tub. Offering sets consisting of only bricks is not a one-time thing, you know. Recall 950 piece buckets 1819 and 1776. Granted, the list price was $20 and a tub beats the heck out (...) (23 years ago, 13-Nov-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.lego.direct)

  Re: Old Lego colors

(...) My early 70s of Lego were that red, white & blue were common, whereas black & yellow were rare, and other colors unheard of, except for green trees and baseplates. I think I had a few grey bricks of some kind, but they did not become at all (...) (25 years ago, 13-May-99, to lugnet.general)

How can you make a tree only from brown parts?

I have a couple of brown parts left. Does anyone have any ideas on how do build a tree from only brown bricks? Like an old, rusting tree or something like that? Steve M. (21 years ago, 4-Jul-03, to lugnet.town)

I thought in the general rtlToronto sense, that Calum was the pseudo leader for train events, whilst Chris was the head honcho for robotic events... <dissing> So why are we gearheads listening to Calum when it comes (...)
