Re: Does anyone know how to modify a train controler?

The simplest answer is not to modify the controller but to replace the power unit/transformer - i.e. the thing that comes in the yellow box that you plug into the wall and then into the controller. By one from any electrical store - get one with (...) (23 years ago, 19-Oct-01, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: what makes a legend?

(...) Changes that keep the spirit and character of a set 'alive' are fine (i.e. the wheels and the hollow studs on the minifig head). To use another's example, making a #375/6075 Yellow Castle with the various wall bricks are not. I'd have to go (...) (23 years ago, 21-Oct-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)
