  fun model building

howdy, writing this post to say that I had some fun last night (Wednesday night) making some models (MOC's). I started the evening designing a fire truck (basically from scratch) using the "chasis" of the ladder truck from the 6382 Fire (...) (23 years ago, 21-Jun-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

(...) First off, quick comment. Negative reinforcement is the wrong term here - negative reinforcement refers to the removal of a bad effect, in response to a good action. Negative reinforcement receives the *same* effect as positive reinforcement, (...) (23 years ago, 21-Jun-01, to lugnet.off-topic.debate)

(...) tons of SPUDs, and waaaay to many 1x2x5s. The owls are a good thing, the possible cloth roof is nasty (ugh!!). Are those space engines on the roof? Icky. But good curved walls. Still very juniorized. Grey arched windows = good, but not enough (...) (23 years ago, 22-Jun-01, to lugnet.castle)

(...) Why is there a limit? What is it? What is it based on? You go on to say some pretty commonly accepted stuff, but I'm not infering what this limit is. Jeff, I too am sad to hear this news. Your pumpers got me started with 6-wide vehicles, and I made a 6-wide city bus after that. Since I had no 6-wide winshields (before Soccer Bus) I used a 4-wide and a 2x1x2 thin wall, which gives it character. I (...) (23 years ago, 24-Jun-01, to lugnet.town)
