| | Re: Great Eastern Wall
|
| (...) This was one of my main ideas in building the wall. How can I incorporate castle and ninja together? I had a ton of castle pieces from years of collecting, plus a modest amount of ninja pieces to provide Eastern-looking trim to the structure. (...) (24 years ago, 27-Jun-00, to lugnet.castle)

| (...) Yeah, spare parts ;-) Parting out sets is just too cool. This way I never have to worry about running out of pieces. (...) There are actually 2 toilets :-) Each one has a sink and a TP dispenser. The one on the bottom has a shower next to it (...) (24 years ago, 27-May-00, to lugnet.starwars)

| | Re: Bulk castle parts?

| (...) I would buy lots of either black or grey wall pieces because you can then build large structures easier and faster. And then, with any type of building, the larger the building becomes, the smaller the wall piece becomes. Because if you're (...) (24 years ago, 15-Jun-00, to lugnet.castle)

| For Mookie (sans blue windows): (URL) files look rough but generally print fairly nice -- I think I'll snap to grid, or join, or something next time rather than just eyeball stuff. =( On another note, I DO intend to make yellow and red walls also. (...) (24 years ago, 19-Jun-00, to lugnet.castle)

| All I can say is WOW! What an amazing piece of art! This is a truly fabulous wall! I was chatting with Shiri and telling her how impressed I was with the way you brought int he disparate elements, Ninja, Wild West, Traditional & Modern Castle (...) (24 years ago, 27-Jun-00, to lugnet.castle)

| Nothing major, just a throne (thrones?) for Marck and Cleo... In the pictures you can also see that Marck has a different face... I changed that a few months ago, so it's about time I showed it. What you see will (tentatively) be built into the wall (...) (24 years ago, 30-May-00, to lugnet.castle) !

| Nice start, Mike- Although the Hi Atlantic is streamlined and thus at first glance looks to be an easy model to make, I can testify that that isn't the case indeed. My Hi took about a half a year to complete, mostly trying to acquire the specialty (...) (24 years ago, 30-May-00, to lugnet.trains)

| | Great Eastern Wall

| One evening back in January, I was watching a Discovery Channel documentary on the Great Wall of China. The next day at Wal-Mart, I found several copies of the LEGO Flying Ninja Fortress (<set:6093>) on clearance. It was almost like a sign from (...) | | Re: Specification for Adapter for RCX
|
| (...) I have a lego wall-wart, I get it in a 8485 (control center II) set. Their specs are: 230AC to 7~10AC 50Hz, but in my country the power is 110VAC 60Hz. I call the lego and they told me that it should work with the technic control center, but (...) (24 years ago, 14-Jun-00, to lugnet.robotics)

| I'd recommend RIS. I haven't tried the RDS, but it looks a lot more simple. I had a lot of fun with the RIS, and if you program it with the software from LEGO, you can make a "bump into wall-back up-turn around" robot in 10-15 minutes for the first (...)
