Re: Brick versions over the years

(...) Hey, sorry I usually don't hang around these here "parts". :-) Well you guys ask (and answered) some really tough questions.... In my (still!) upcoming Lego CD I will be discussing Lego parts mainly from 1949-80, although for some items I go (...) (19 years ago, 23-Aug-05, to lugnet.parts)

In the past all my mosaics are unglued with a glued frame around to keep all the bricks in place. I was going to do the same with this and the (...) (...) And dalek (5-stud) bricks, and technic 1x1 one-hole bricks, too, one presumes... It's very neat, what with half-plate spacing everywhere, but you'd have to be very carefully moving it if you didn't want to have to re-set loads of tiles! I have (...) In the meantime, here's a bit of info about it: About 2.5 (...) (19 years ago, 17-Aug-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

OK, some annotations here: The history of the buildings can be sorted in three stages: First, there was an evil wizard, who had his castle and tower built in (and beyond) the rear (north) part of the inn.   New LEGO Store in Portland, OR

Yes! Finally! Now I get to be as poor as everybody else who lives within easy commuting distance of a LEGO Store.   Re: Lego Parts You Hate....

(...) These are nice for single color steam domes. I never liked the notched edges on 2x2 round brick. (...) My initial reaction to this part was of a similar vein, but I recently built a large retainer wall, using mostly 1xNx5 and 2xNx1 bricks. And (...)   Re: On creating life-sized sculpture

(...) The Lego software does in fact only give the outline on a lego grid rather than where each brick goes. It works pretty good most of the time. I like the overall look and brick wall background. Will you be able to click on the gallery images to get a larger high res version (like 800x600) to ogle the details? How about builders notes and maybe even a sci-fi backstory for each model. You've (...) (19 years ago, 1-Oct-05, to lugnet.publish.html, FTX)
