Hey Rev,

Awesome! I’d been wondering when the next installment would come. I like the new background, BTW.

Izban, Elon, and Abdon - Hmm, not a lot here. Not sure why you chose to illustrate this. I never knew how much of a ladies’ man Elon was.

Samson is Born - What’s the lobster bib in the first pic? I really like the blue/white studless room in 13:1, very striking. I assume from before that Samson’s mom’s hair and his hair/beard piece are some sort of prototype elements and therefore “official”, but personally I don’t really like the look of either of these elements. However, I know it’s hard to keep creating identifiable characters with a limited number of piece desings. I like that Manoah is hiding in the bushes while his wife talks to the angel. Also her dropping the sausage is funny. In 20-21, is that angel supported by something other than the flames? I didn’t think the flame-flame connection could bear that much weight. Nice face for Samson.

Mass Murder - Very cool lion! Other build details that I really like are the sort of torch things in the dining hall and the blue technic axels in gray axel-holes as wall details in Samson’s house. My favorite moment is “So, do you like, um, stuff?” Samson is so suave.

Arson - Verse 1, Not really the master of subtlety, is he? :) I like your jackal solution. I probably would have used antennas for the grain field, as the stacks of 1x1 rounds are a little thick. The black burnt field is particularly effective for some reason. In the last scene I really like the cave. The rock reminds me of this from Brickfest.

Slaughter - Vs 9 - Those hairpieces make me feel lost in the 80’s, btw. Good jawbone solution. The pic where Samson is hitting a Philistine in the ear is probably my favorite. I’m not a fan of the water spray. To me it looks more like the Sarlaac or some other alien animal living underground with lots of tentacles and stuff. I suppose trans-blue flames wouldn’t look like a huge fountain, though.

Anyway, looking forward to the scene where Samson brings the house down.

Bruce

Hey, Bruce. (...) Thanks, I'm pretty happy with the new look. Easier to read, and hopefully a little nicer to look at. I also dispensed with the two letter abbreviations for the books of the Bible. When I started the project, I mistakenly thought (...) (19 years ago, 17-Sep-05, to lugnet.build.ancient, FTX)
