  IRPD

I'm working on getting IRPD to no only avoid obstacles but also identify objects. Primarily I am trying to get it to identify a coke can for the RCX Challenge. When the IRPD finds an obstacle, the robot turns left until the obstacle detection (...) (25 years ago, 16-Apr-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  dual servo update

Hi, For any interested dual servo users the following is what I have been able to find regarding the twitching. Wiring a 1000microf electrolytic across the 6V within inches of each servo seems to work. However, a much more important fix has been (...) (28 years ago, 21-Jan-97, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

Re: Some questions that relate to an idea I am thinking about

(...) I have built a robot based on this architecture. I used it to attend a contest where the robots had to cover a distance, touch a wall, rotate and come back as precisely as possible to the starting point. I don't have a page on my site for this (...) (22 years ago, 20-Sep-02, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: BrickFest 2002 Castle Room

(...) I think a walled town could be cool. If we were aiming for jeff's suggested 16 baseplates, I think we'd need at least 8 people or so, depending on how much stuff people were prepared to build and take with them. If there isn't enough interest, (...) (22 years ago, 12-May-02, to lugnet.castle)

  Creating 47457.dat 2x2x2/3 Sloped&Rounded  [DAT]

Finally, my fair (if not terrible) first attempt at part authoring is ready for submission (as soon as parts@ldraw.org lets me). What a learning experience! It took 12 version saves to get "close".
