  Re: MOC - Small Castle

(...) Thanks. There aren't any interior details. I slapped this one together in about an hour in an effort to beef up my Christmas train layout. I didn't have time to put in any interior details and figured that they wouldn't show in this layout. (22 years ago, 4-Dec-02, to lugnet.castle)

  MOC - Small Castle

This is a small castle I built for a Christmas layout: (URL) is essentially two "Guarded Inn" sets stacked on top of each other with a few other pieces from my collection thrown in. (22 years ago, 3-Dec-02, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.castle, lugnet.build)

Re: MOC - Small Train Station

(...) Thanks, I based the facade on Paris' Gare St. Lazare. The real version can be seen here: (URL) had to clip out several bays as well as the top story. I also redid the roof in a more Victorian style (with the HP slate roof pieces). Even as (...) (22 years ago, 2-Dec-02, to lugnet.trains)

Re: MOC - Small Train Station

(...) Thanks. The feel of this station brings me back to the early 80's or so of LEGO design (except for the new green roofs). Generally, I tend to use a lot more special parts, giving my MOC's a more fanciful and often futuristic look. However, I (...) (22 years ago, 2-Dec-02, to lugnet.trains)

  MOC - Small Train Station

Here is a small train station I built for a layout under our Christmas tree. (URL) the small space available, it had to be significantly more compressed than my usual MOC's and there was no room for interior details. However, I did include a front (...)   BigW sales + other things

Actually got their catalog. Gungan Sub 7161 for $39.83AUD. Other things not worth mentioning. I hope this is not their only set on sale before christmas. I guess my hopes were too high for a cheap Black Falcon Castle after last years cheap Enchanted (...) (22 years ago, 28-Nov-02, to lugnet.loc.au)

  Re: coming sales :)

(...) Mission 'Clean out NSW II' is proceeding nicely. Bought another 15, bringing the total to 25. They had 24 cranes (9 left, 1 has a busted box) and about 50 motobikes along with just about every other current set. For those that were unaware, GB (...) Tried to lay-by them, but they called the manager and he gave me the 'I'm going to resell them' (technically, yes) and 'disappointed customers' (true) (...)
