  Pair of Armored Mechs

Hello .Mecha! Here are some mechs. They're a little taller than Bionicle Toas. I was quite glad to find a use for those odd corner parts from set 6441. And these are definitely not inspired by Gundam. At all. Seriously. Uh-huh. Pictures: (URL) pics (...) (20 years ago, 6-Feb-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) I do! I do wanna! And look, I've even done an FTX (URL) page> for it! (And all that effort for a McD bionicle!) It just needs some rules. Tomorrrow, methinks. Work beckons. Cheers Richie (URL) (20 years ago, 9-Feb-04, to lugnet.loc.au, FTX)

(...) Somewhat, I guess. A lot of castles were built with sandstone, and while tan is the closest match, it wasn't introduced until 1997, IIRC, which would put it just a bit too late to be used in any of the European-style Castle sets. Yellow was (...) (20 years ago, 10-Feb-04, to lugnet.castle)

Ok, I think a competition within ourselves could be a good idea :) Let me see what I can come up with in the next week or so as far as prizes etc go... maybe a few interesting catagories would help too... The KB Toys in Flatirons Crossing Mall is going out of business. They have marked 20% off the lowest ticketed price. They have some smaller Star Wars sets, like the Cloud Car, Anakin's Speeder, the Gungan troop set, and others. They had a lot of the (...) (20 years ago, 8-Feb-04, to lugnet.loc.us.co, FTX)

  Better Pictures...

There are some better pictures of the 4 new Technic sets: (URL) that I have seen them closer...nothing special in that mini-technic set...the airplane is nice and actually the Bionicle blades look good...the 4WD is nice but there isn't anything that (...) Dear Lego I think you've made a big mistake on the new crane truck using a bionicle hook rather than the metal Technic hook that already exists. I don't recall where I made the offer but I think it was in the CAD hierarchy, not the market one. That (...) (20 years ago, 22-Jan-04, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, FTX)

Thank you Lego! The more I see of these sets the easier it will be not to buy any of them. Bionicle parts have no business in true Technic sets. They are different themes and should be kept that way!
