| | New Argos catalogue and new LEGO catalogue
|
| I picked up the new LEGO catalogue today, August-December 2002. I don't think there is anything in it that we don't have listed at www.brickset.com, except for the Williams F1 racer, #8461, which looks pretty good adorned with new 'HP Invent' (...) (22 years ago, 3-Aug-02, to lugnet.loc.uk)

I recommend Mario Ferrari's "Building Robots with Lego Mindstorms" for mechanical ideas that simplify the electrical control. (I.e. less (...) (22 years ago, 30-Jan-03, to lugnet.robotics)

| On the other hand FLL has grown to 2100 teams in the USA and there are no signs that this movement is slowing down. Those kids have to be customers or at least potential customers for Mindstorms/Technic. Maybe they are not part of the mass market (...) (22 years ago, 14-Nov-02, to lugnet.robotics)

Well, lets see..... any variables declared outside a function are by (...) (21 years ago, 11-Mar-04, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc)

|
| (...) Nice idea John, I just wish I had a USB tower! (Or not!). Handling the USB tower in VB is stupidly hard, and I can't use my existing code for the RCX. I just wish LEGO had decided on one simple protocol and speed and everything else! It is so (...) (18 years ago, 8-Feb-07, to lugnet.robotics)
