Howdy, just wanted to let you guys know that my bro is selling his expert builder sets on ebay in case you guys are interested in these sets. To jog your memory, 8847 is the dragster, 8841 is the desert racer, and 8040 is the first pneumatic set. (...) (25 years ago, 4-Jan-00, to lugnet.technic)

(...) Aw, never mind. 4.7 was a snap to install. Didn't even blow anything up. :) Seems to run a bit faster than 4.61, that's good. Maybe it won't have the same bogus memory consumption...we'll see. But it looks like 4.7 has the same problem with (...) (25 years ago, 20-Jan-00, to lugnet.off-topic.geek)

(...) Ouch. You don't want to do that too much or you will torch (may have torched) your NiCds. NiCds do NOT like to be overcharged, it causes a problem called Voltage depression that many mistakenly call "memory effect". [snip] (...) Servos will (...)
