I remember my first computer being a Timex Sinclair, it had little chiclet keys, very little memory.. and you had to program it to do anything because it didn't seem like there was anything written for it..   malloc() bug haunt: getting closer..
 
Yesterday evening i found something, that might be the reason for some of the crashes reported lately: The chain of memory blocks used by malloc() has a broken entry, say: the reserved block at 0xfd7c has a length word of 0xfffe. i just bought the set ( yahoo! heh ) but when i installed the software then run it, it says out of memory or reinstall needed? i reinstalled in full and minium install, no change. what am i doing wrong? 300+ mb ram and plenty of hd space too! -- And (...) (...) It isn't just for DOS. The version I use is a native win32 command-line version; it handles memory and long filenames just dandy. If you really want a GUI, you could perhaps look into L3PAO -- (URL) - jsproat (22 years ago, 17-Aug-02, to lugnet.cad)
